FLDC is excited to announce Melissa Anderson as our third (out of four) featured speakers!

Melissa Anderson (eliza411 on Drupal.org) has been working with Drupal for over 8 years. She was one of the leads of the “Great Git Migration”, where Drupal.org’s version control system was transitioned from CVS to Git. Melissa also is a participant in the Drupal governance initiative as a member of the Drupal.org Software Working Group

Currently, Melissa is taking a lead role in Drupal 8’s new Import API, also known as “Migrate in Core.” The goal of the Import API is to provide a path where websites running earlier versions of Drupal can easily migrate data directly to Drupal 8.
